The Karting Minute 50.0 – Two Ways to Race, Multiple Charities to Support

Last year, we hosted our first-ever charity race — and it was awesome! We had experienced racers, mechanics, parents, and first-timers all come out and race for a great cause.

This year, we’re taking it a step further. We’ve partnered with HRKC and Canadian Mini Indy to bring you the Karting Minute 50.0, an all-day charity karting event where there are two exciting ways to race. Whether you’re a seasoned driver with your own kart or you just want to jump in for some Arrive & Drive fun, this is your chance to race, laugh, and support multiple charities.

Option 1: HRKC Enduro – Bring Your Kart

If you’ve got your own kart, this one’s for you. The HRKC Enduro is a 50-lap race with a twist — every driver must complete one mandatory pit stop, where you can either change tires or simulate an oil change.

The day kicks off with practice and qualifying on the oval, before heading to the National Track layout for the main event. It’s part strategy, part endurance, and 100% fun.

Option 2: Canadian Mini Indy Enduro – Arrive & Drive

No kart? No problem! The afternoon session is the Canadian Mini Indy Arrive & Drive Enduro, open to HRKC members, Canadian Mini Indy racers, mechanics, friends, family, and first-time drivers — yes, even Trevor!

Non-members will need to complete a mandatory orientation session before racing to ensure safety and fairness.

This is a 45-minute team race with three groups of 10 drivers. Each team must complete a mandatory driver change halfway through the race. Don’t have a teammate? We’ll pair you up based on combined weight to keep things fair.

Race for Charity

This event is all about giving back. Each class winner gets to choose which charity receives the proceeds from their race, meaning multiple charities will benefit throughout the day.

Plus, we’ll draw one bonus charity at random to receive a special donation — so every racer and every charity has a chance to win big.

Throughout the day, we’ll be running fun activities to raise even more money for charity:
