Southern Ontario's Premier Kart Club
The Hamilton Regional Kart Club is the core of Hamilton Karting Complex. This is our Kart Owners Club featuring an 18 race championship. We race on Sundays throughout the summer. We pride ourselves on being a family friendly club but also offering some of the most competitive racing in the province. Many Canadian Karting Champions call HRKC home and can be found racing our track every week.
Briggs Racing
Briggs & Stratton L0206 Racing has been the Heart and Soul of our club for years. We have great racers with large classes including Cadet, Jr. Lite, Jr, Sr and Masters.
Rotax Racing
New to the club we are introducing Rotax Racing at all club events with Micro Max, Junior Max and Senior Max.

Founded in 1982, the Hamilton Regional Kart Club (HRKC) has been a cornerstone of kart racing in Ontario, offering an exciting and competitive environment for kart racers of all skill levels. With a focus on safety first, racing second, HRKC is governed by a dedicated Rules & Disciplinary Committee that ensures the day-to-day operations are handled professionally and that all members adhere to the club’s comprehensive Rules and Regulations.
HRKC is home to over 100 passionate racers, from serious amateurs to seasoned veterans, with ages ranging from 8 to 65. The club welcomes new members who are eager to step up to the challenge of faster-paced racing, tougher competition, and the strong sense of sportsmanship that HRKC fosters. Whether you’re a young driver starting out or an experienced racer, HRKC provides an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for all.
One of the club’s key commitments is maintaining an affordable and friendly environment while keeping racing standards high. This is achieved through the strict enforcement of the rules and regulations, ensuring that competition is fair and costs remain manageable for all participants.
All on-track and club activities are administered by Canadian Mini Indy, with GDS ASN Canada as the governing body overseeing the sport of karting across the country.

Join The HRKC Today
Membership
Drivers participating in HRKC races must hold an active membership with the club. However, racers with memberships in good standing from other karting clubs are welcome to compete as a guest for up to two HRKC races per year.
Associate Member
Any non driver that will be on grid/in the pits at a race event must have an associate membership. This includes Mechanics and Family Members.
Trailer Parking
Practice Pass
Practice time is available through the week and must be pre-booked. Availability is released weekly. If you plan on practicing often, we recommend a practice pass.
