2024: A Year to Remember at Hamilton Karting Complex

2024 was an incredible year at the Hamilton Karting Complex! We’re thrilled to share that we completed all of our planned track upgrades and, most excitingly, installed a state-of-the-art digital marshalling system. This new system has quickly become a fan favorite among drivers, as it displays crucial information at every corner and significantly enhances safety. Yellow flags, blue flags, red flags, and other safety markers can now be instantly applied across various corners, keeping racers informed in real-time about track conditions and ensuring a safer racing environment.

This year was also packed with exciting events and milestones for the karting community. Some of the highlights include:

Hosting Round 3, the championship round, of the prestigious Ron Fellows Karting Championship
Putting on our always-anticipated CKN Dash for Cash race
Welcoming competitors for Round 3 of the Ontario Interclub Challenge
Hosting all five races of the newly-formed RMC Ontario Championship, which awarded Grand Finals tickets to the Junior and Senior winners
The crown jewel of the year: for the second year in a row, we proudly hosted the Motomaster Canadian National Karting Championship, a thrilling event that brought together the best racers from across Canada.

We want to extend a massive thank you to all the racers who called Hamilton Karting Complex home this year, as well as the many drivers who visited from other tracks to take part in our events. A special shoutout also goes to our amazing volunteers, corner marshals, and race marshals—without your dedication, none of this would be possible.

Looking ahead to 2025, we’re already hard at work planning another exciting calendar of events, including both Arrive & Drive races and private karting competitions. This past year, our Arrive & Drive events featured the wildly popular Trophy Cup Series, and we were thrilled to introduce the brand-new Karting Minute Charity Race, which was a fantastic event that raised significant funds for various charities and brought the community together.
