The 4 Track Layouts For HRKC in 2025

For many years Hamilton Regional Kart Club has used 2 staple track layouts but for 2025 and beyond we have added 2 new track layouts which will offer a much different type of racing. Below are the 4 track layouts for HRKC, on the HRKC schedule they are listed as Tracks 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Track Configuration #1 – Counter Clockwise

This is the classic that has been used as our staple and for most National Events. It features long straights and a challenging section near the end of the lap and several overtaking opportunities particularly on the main straight, into turn 4 and turn 9.

Track Configuration #2 – Clockwise

This track is very similar to track #1 except it is run in a Clockwise direction and the chicane is removed. This makes for a fast lap time and punishes any mistakes. In this configuration, the finish line is close to the end of the straight making for some great drag races to the line on the final lap.

Track Configuration #3 – Counter Clockwise Alternate Layout

New for 2025, the alternate layout. In configuration #3 we run it Counter Clockwise with the final chicane. We can’t wait to see the racing this brings out, especially turn 1 that now goes from a flat out to having to immediately set up for a quick turn 2.

Track Configuration #4 – Clockwise Alternate Layout

We look forward to seeing these new configurations in action during the 2025 season and beyond. Below is the schedule for 2025 including when each layout is being used.
