This past weekend at Hamilton Karting Complex was one to remember. We hosted our first national race of the season—the 5th Annual CKN Dash—alongside HRKC Race 5 on Sunday. Formerly known as the Dash for Cash, this year we changed the stakes. Instead of racing for cash, competitors battled for incredible prize packages, including brand new Briggs & Stratton LO206 engines, free race entries, and Rev Performance Materials gear.

Saturday: CKN Dash Recap
With no points on the line, racers brought their A-game for the one-off CKN Dash event, knowing that the winners would walk away with serious rewards.
Briggs Cadet
A small but mighty field of our youngest competitors took to the track. Max Koutsoukis qualified on pole and led early, but it was Nathan Stockwell, arriving just in time for the final, who stole the show. Starting from the back, Nathan carved his way through the field and took the win by over 3.5 seconds.
Podium: 1. Nathan Stockwell | 2. Max Koutsoukis | 3. Camden Box
Fastest Lap: Jackson Duncan
Briggs Junior Light
Melville De Santos made his first appearance in Hamilton this year in a strong way, sweeping qualifying, the pre-final, and the final. Cody Shaw kept the pressure on, finishing less than two-tenths behind and setting the fastest lap.
Podium: 1. Melville De Santos | 2. Cody Shaw | 3. Wyatt Smith
Briggs Junior
A breakthrough moment for Jackson Corbett, who captured his first national win to the delight of the paddock. After Aristides Theodoropoulos dominated early, mechanical issues opened the door for Corbett to snatch the win from Cole Campin.
Podium: 1. Jackson Corbett | 2. Cole Campin | 3. (Not listed)
Briggs Senior
Although entries were lower than usual, the racing didn’t disappoint. After Logan Pacza took pole, Mitchell Morrow won the pre-final in a tight fight. The final, however, was chaos—seven karts were taken out in a first-lap crash. Morrow capitalized and cruised to victory.
Podium: 1. Mitchell Morrow | 2. Jaden Hundal | 3. Nicholas Filino
Briggs Masters
Christopher Mitchell reminded everyone why he’s a threat at every event, dominating the day with pole, pre-final, and final wins, finishing over six seconds ahead of the field. Christopher has been a big part of Hamilton Karting for several years and was long over due for his first Dash win.
Podium: 1. Christopher Mitchell | 2. Levant Bowden | 3. Dalton Watson
Rotax Mini Max
It was a competitive field with the return of the Lorusso brothers. Massimo Lorusso won the final, but the biggest story was Mateo Pai, who recovered from a big crash in qualifying to finish second, racing with a splinted wrist and driving one handed.
Podium: 1. Massimo Lorusso | 2. Mateo Pi | 3. Tyler DelBelBelluz
Rotax Junior Max
A star-studded field featured several racers out to Hamilton for their first time this year, including Roman Doria and Christian Papp. Christian set the pace early qualifying on Pole and Ari Theodoropoulos took the win in the Pre-Final but it was Jackson Morley who pulled off a brilliant drive to win the final—his fifth straight Dash win, each in a different class.
Podium: 1. Jackson Morley | 2. Ari Theodoropoulos | 3. Christian Papp
Rotax Senior Max
Arnaud Sabourin set the pace early with pole and pre-final wins, but the final saw an intense three-way battle. Michael Nickle made a bold late move on Ayden Ingratta to seal the win.
